"Brain Melter" is a hot sauce brand that packs a punch with the use of Carolina Reaper peppers, renowned for being the hottest pepper in the world. The challenge was to create a design that would not only capture the heat and intensity of the Carolina Reaper peppers but also convey a sense of exclusivity and high-end quality.
For the solution I created a bold and visually striking image of a skull with flames on a large white space, paired with a gothic blackletter typeface. The skull and flames communicate the intense heat of the sauce, while the gothic typography adds the darkness, with the use of calligraphic letters of the Middle Ages.
